HOW TO QUICKLY AND EASILY START A TRAFFIC VIRUS

Traffic should be your number one concern when establishing your website. Success to building and promoting your website is the effectiveness and the amount of traffic your tool (traffic virus) does to your system.

In any case, your site content, products relevance to the visitors, and website formatting are just some of the reason why people would even need to stay in your site, browse it and action something.

However, some products are just as effective in driving traffic no matter what type of topic genre and your place in the online community is, as other highly expensive online traffic virus around.

While it is important to know the features of an effective traffic generator, we will need to understand the very basics and the common qualities of this fantastic piece of software.

What is a Traffic Virus?

A traffic virus, commonly know as traffic generator, is a great new tool for the generation of the number of online users visiting your site.

Unlike other pesky virus programs around, a traffic virus does not harm your personal computer but actually helps it in its performance in search engine hits and matches.

You will be able to accommodate a considerable number of people visiting your site with the use of this powerful program which helps search engines perform website searches that specifically targets your site and include in the top list in any search suggestion.

What are the Features of an Effective Traffic Generator?

The ability to generate hits Obviously, as mentioned above, the first and foremost functionality of a traffic generator is its ability to generate extra hits to your website without you doing anything.

Frees You From Advertising Fees Advertising is a number one pain in your pocket. Marketing your website through advertising promotion costs you so much money than your website software, and maintenance combined.

With a traffic generator, you will only need to install the software program, run it freely into your PC system, and it will do its job alone without you having to do a whole lot of maintenance.

Starting Traffic Virus

There are a lot of ways on how you can create traffic to your site. But no matter how good your website content is, without proper machineries, you will not be able to generate as much as 2 million site hits just like Yahoo does.

One way to doing it is by using software that will help you generate hits, maintain them and increase them exponentially. That is the very work of a traffic virus.

While we consider the above as the number one consideration in driving traffic to your site, there are also a lot of things that needs equal consideration in maintaining the initial traffic created during the initial trial in applying viral marketing in your website.

Creating your Own Killer Site Creating a website which everybody finds enjoyment for or will find valuable information from will create traffic to your site.

Word of mouth has been on of the most effective ways in creating website traffic. Satisfied users/visitors will more or less inform others of the quality of your site and in turn creates such desired traffic.

Apart from installing your traffic virus, a good website content is also a must. Connect with your target audience. Provide them with the most updated topics and research on your field of interest and create excitement and enthusiasm on every subject you state in your site.

Fave Place In identifying the effectiveness and the value of viral marketing, you will need to point out which part of your site your viewers usually visits and from there, you will be able to tailor your next action in improving your sites quality and quantity.

Search Engine and Links Search engines performance and effective linkages is the very core of increasing traffic to your site. Traffic virus helps your website in delivering a traffic to your site through effective searches and helping you create links to other site without you expending energy and money.

Viral marketing works on linking your site to other sites that are already manifesting a satisfactory traffic. This link will propagate across the net and will be advertised to websites for free.

2006 Trends in Robotic Space Exploration Rovers

In 2005 we witnessed the Mars Rover just keep on trucking like the Energizer Bunny, putting even the famous “takes licking and keeps on ticking” Timex Watch commercials to shame. Robotics have certainly made incredible strides here on Earth with robotic surveillance aircraft, autonomous cars cruising driverless through the harsh desert, vacuuming your home and even in factories building the next generation of hybrid automobiles.

But Robotics have also made their mark on Martian Soil, on the Surface of Mars with tiny tracks from six mechanical wheels moving over hills and dales and rough terrain. 2005 was a year when our robotic scientists proved to this world and the next that there is nothing that humans cannot do, once they put their innovative minds to it and use their human intent to press on. Truly 2005 was an amazing year for robotic researchers to strut their stuff.

In 2006 we will see new designs in robotic exploration robots, once which will be spherical and use haptics methods for propulsion moving the inside center of gravity to move along. We will also see protruding spiked wheels to power up steeper terrain and systems, which can lift the rovers over rocks and steep embankments. We will also see self-assembly techniques for moving over rock formations, crossing gullies and assisting in Lunar Colony, mining manufacturing plant and life support construction for later human arrivals. We will see these concepts put forth in realistic terms. So, think on this in 2006

Women in Online Marketing and Business

Two generations ago, women didn’t go into business. Period. Well, unless they had no alternative (meaning no husband). Last generation, women went into business BUT they were expected to do EVERYTHING – that whole “superwoman” concept that pretty much burned everyone out (including their husbands, boyfriends and kids). NOW, women can run and manage businesses in balance with all the other aspects of their lives. And the Internet can provide the education and support to make this happen.

On-line businesses are perfect for single mothers, with children to take care of, parenting an child-activity schedules to co-ordinate, child support to supplement, and their own lives to lead. An on-line business allows a woman to set her own hours, and also have the business run when she is not attending to it. Many established companies offer affiliate programs, with training, pre-written marketing materials, and training. If you are new to on-line businesses, this is an excellent way to being your on-line efforts; however, start with companies that do NOT require you to buy the product or pay money up-front before you earn commissions.
On-line businesses are terrific for women with full-time jobs or who already are in business or run their own companies. These businesses give these women extra income with little or no investment. They also give you the opportunity to experiment with and try out new ideas.
The Internet also provides 2 things that every business owner, and especially women, needs: education and support (networking). If you are just beginning with on-line business, or even if you have some experience, you should invest in a comprehensive education package from an experienced and successful on-line marketer. These packages take you step-by-step through establishing and growing a business, without being focused on the writer’s “pet” project.

Networking is so important. The Internet provides text messaging, chat rooms, forums, email lists, and all the other tools you probably use in your social networking. When used to connect with other on-line business owners – and especially other women in your same situation – they can save you thousands of dollars in wasted effort, hundreds of hours in wasted time, and keep your stress levels at “excited” instead of “panic”!
The Internet provides the opportunity for economic independence and freedom that women in the 1960’s and 1970’s could not even imagine. And no matter what your personal views on women’s roles in society may be, extra income for the household – earned honestly and without harming the family – is a good thing.

Walking away from the Game of Poker

In the game of poker, even the greatest players in the world have days where they simply have to cash in their chips and walk away from the poker table. It could be the mind is not as sharp as poker demands. Maybe it has more to do with having a string of bad luck during a poker game. What ever the reason, there will be a time when you will have to walk away from a poker game as well. If you don’t, well you could loose a lot more than a few hands of poker. Yet the real question is not so much if you should walk away from a poker game but when. Some people decide a certain loss limit. When they loose so much money at poker they call it good. Others determine when to walk away by counting the amount of hands they win and loose during the poker game. If the win lose ratio hits a certain amount they call the poker game good and walk away from the table. Finally there are those that walk away after winning so much in a poker game. For these people the idea is that walking away a winner is better than walking away breaking even or even worse a looser. In all honestly when to walk away from a poker game is up to the individual. However it is something everyone should be willing to do.

How to Profit from Real Estate in Dubai

Since the Crown Prince of Dubai made changes to his country’s constitution back in 2002 to allow for the foreign freehold ownership of real estate in Dubai, the real estate market in the emirate has gone crazy!

Because there are no such things as taxes payable on income or property transactions in Dubai, and because the popularity of the emirate with hundreds of multinational corporations has created thousands of jobs in Dubai, everyone wants a piece of the property market.

But because demand is so intense and property prices have been shooting sky high, how is it still possible to profit from real estate in Dubai?

Well, you’ve got to know the market to know which developments are in demand from which people, and which people are willing and able to pay top dollar for rental and resale property in Dubai – then you just have to target your property purchase to meet the requirements of your market!

Simple!

First things first it’s important to know that those buying apartments off-plan in Dubai right now will have to wait for up to three years to see their properties completed. This means that those who have jobs in Dubai and want to relocate to the emirate right now will have to find completed accommodation to rent out.

The demand for completed apartments close to Dubai’s main employment sectors such as Dubai Media City is so intense that annual rental rate increases have been capped by the government who were afraid the increasing prices being demanded would create an unaffordable market place.

Anyone with the funds and the contacts should buy completed apartments in Dubai to let out for the short to medium term. When the majority of projects currently under construction come to completion within the next three years however, there will be a surfeit of apartment accommodation in Dubai which will restrict property price and rental price increases naturally.

Those looking for a longer term real estate investment opportunity in Dubai and wishing to get ahead of the curve should be looking at family villa accommodation. Almost as in demand currently as completed apartments are family villas – but far fewer of these are being constructed and far more of these will likely be required over the longer term. Furthermore with the creation of Dubailand well underway, villas to rent close to the main attractions of Dubailand for visitors to the theme park will quite possibly become as in demand as Florida villas.

All in all the popularity of Dubai’s real estate sector is as intense as ever, but an investor nowadays has to be a little more astute than before if he is to continue profiting for the long term.

How To Use The About Me Page On eBay

How To Use The About Me Page On eBay

No matter what you sell online, or how you sell it, you will need to build a measure of trust with your customers. When selling through eBay, building that trust can be quite difficult – people worry about being scammed quite a bit.

However, eBay sellers can use the ‘About Me’ page that comes with their eBay seller’s account to start building that all-important trust.

The ‘About Me’ page on eBay will allow you to tell your potential customers more about you, your products, and your business. This page allows the potential bidders to see that you are indeed a real human being, and there is even a forum included which will allow you to have personal communication with potential customers.

You can use this page to provide information about why you want to sell various items, how you got started on eBay, and any other information that you want to share that might help build trust. The ‘About Me’ page can also be used to show your trading history on eBay. Having the ability to show that you have no refund requests – or very few – and that you’ve honored all requests is vital.

eBay is a lot of fun – for both buyers and sellers – but when it comes down to the wire, it is a business, and it should be operated as such.

The ‘About Me’ page on eBay is similar to the ‘About Us’ page that you see on the websites of major corporations. Corporations use their pages to give a brief company history, a brief explanation of their mission and standards, and vital information about the people running the company. Your ‘About Me’ page should have no less.

CopyRight Ian D. Major 2005

CopyRight Ian D. Major 2005

It is important to note that eBay does not make the ‘About Me’ page very accessible to sellers – in terms of finding the page and how to add information to the page. To find the page and get it set up, simply go to: http://cgi3.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?AboutMeLogin and sign in with your user ID and password. You will be taken through the steps to get your ‘About Me’ page all set up.

You will be allowed to use an HTML page that you have created yourself, or to use the easy form that eBay provides. By using the form, you can enter information about yourself or your business, upload pictures, add your website links, allow your current offerings to show, and allow your feedback history to show.

Once you’ve finished creating the page eBay will email you the URL. You can share this URL with friends, family, and website visitors. You can even have it printed on promotional items.

While eBay will allow you to add outside links to your ‘About Me’ page, there are rules that must be followed.

Those links cannot point to any site that sells items outside of the eBay website. It may point to a site that offers more information about the items you are selling on eBay, as long as those items are only available through eBay – not through the website.

Breaking this rule will result in removal of your ‘About Me’ page, listing cancellations, limited account privileges, account suspension, loss of eBay fees on cancelled listings, or loss of PowerSeller status.

If you have questions that eBay does not answer about creating your ‘About Me’ page, there is a discussion board set up for this very purpose. This forum is easily accessible when you are creating your ‘About Me’ page, and you will find all of the answers that you are looking for here. You may also choose to view other members ‘About Me’ pages to get some ideas.

Just remember that the ‘About Me’ page should be used to build trust between you and your potential customers. You should avoid making it look too ‘corporate,’ but at the same time, avoid making it look like an amateur home page as well.

Would You Know if Your Child Were Being Bullied? 4 ...

The 21st Century Problem in Schools: Bullying, and How to Keep Your Kid From Being a Victim

Children bullying other children has been an issue since there were children, and though it has often been downplayed as “part of growing up,” it has always had potentially serious implications from an emotional perspective.

But these days, due to a host of factors such as our society’s glorification of celebrity and being popular, violence in mass media, and easy access to deadly weapons, the implications can be especially risky. At the extreme, in many of the school shootings over the last decade, the perpetrators were withdrawn students who had a history of being bullied. Though still largely ignored or discounted as a minor issue, bullying is a very serious – and growing – problem.

According to a new study of two schools by UCLA researchers, 47 percent of sixth graders in one school and 46 percent in the other said they’d been bullied at least once during a five-day period.

Bullying can take on many forms-name calling, teasing, spreading rumors, physical aggression-and the end result can be tragic, both for the victim and the bully. After being teased, even if it’s “just joking around,” kids are seriously affected, and verbal abuse happens twice as often as physical abuse, according to the UCLA study that was published in the March/April issue of the journal Child Development.

“The students who were beat up and those who were called names were equally bothered. Kids reported feeling humiliated, anxious or disliking school on days when they reported incidents, which shows there is no such thing as ‘harmless’ name-calling or an ‘innocent’ punch,” said Jaana Juvonen, UCLA professor of psychology and co-author of the study.

When bullying gets bad enough, kids can end up missing school or worse. Back in 2002, one 12-year-old Connecticut boy who had missed 44 days of school as a result of bullying ending up committing suicide by hanging himself. Though suicide and school shootings demonstrate extremes of what can happen if a child is bullied, there are other lasting impacts that can occur.

Says Alice Pope, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychologyat St. John’s University, the effects of bullying can last a lifetime and include lowered self-esteem, vulnerability to depression, problems with sexual relationships and, as mentioned above, suicide.

Victims of bullies are also more likely to report physical symptoms like headaches, stomachaches and colds than kids who aren’t bullied.

The bully, too, is more likely to have problems later in life, she says, ranging from lowered school attendance and performance to an increased likelihood of committing criminal acts. Bullies, like victims, also have a greater risk of depression and suicide.

So just how widespread is bullying?

“Bullying is a problem that large numbers of kids confront on a daily basis at school; it’s not just an issue for the few unfortunate ones,” said Juvonen. And the cycle of bullying is similar to that of a yo-yo dieter: the more a child is bullied, the more depressed, lonely and anxious they feel. This makes them want to avoid school, so their grades and social ties break down, while meanwhile making them more psychologically vulnerable to being bullied.

Children appear most likely to be bullied (or at least are most affected by bullying) between the ages of 11 and 13. Fortunately, as children get older, the likelihood of being bullied goes down.

Is Your Child Being Bullied?

A child who’s bullied often exhibits some of these warning signs, says the National Mental Health Information Center:

* Becomes socially withdrawn or has poor social skills.

* Has few or no friends.

* Feels sad, alone, rejected, not liked, picked on or persecuted.

* Often complains of feeling sick.

* Doesn’t want to go to school or skips school.

* Brings home damaged possessions or “loses” possessions often.

* Cries easily, talks of running away or suicide.

* Has changes in appetite and sleeping patterns.

* Threatens violence to self and others.

* Displays “victim” body language such as hung head or shoulders, avoiding eye contact.

* Tries to take “protection” to school (stick, knife, etc.).

4 Ways to Help Your Child From Becoming Bullied

Kids who have low self-esteem, few friends or lack social skills are often the targets of bullies, simply because they’re less likely to fight back or pose a real challenge to the bully. The National Mental Health Information Center recommends that parents take the following four steps to prevent their kids from becoming a victim to a bully:

1. Instill self-confidence in your child.

2. Help your child establish good social skills.

3. Teach your child to speak out for him or herself.

4. Teach your child to seek help if harassed, from you and other caring adults.

What to do if Your Child is Being Bullied

Here are seven simple steps to take if you suspect your child is being bullied (see the box above for signs your child may be at risk), from the National Mental Health Information Center:

1. Make sure your child knows being bullied is not his or her fault.

2. Let your child know that he or she does not have to face being bullied alone.

3. Discuss ways of responding to bullies.

4. Teach your child to be assertive.

5. Tell your child not to react, but to ignore the bully, walk away and get help if pursued.

6. Tell your child to report bullying immediately to a trusted adult.

7. Contact the school/teacher.

For those of you interested in keeping your little one from becoming a bully, don’t miss the article below, “9 Key Reasons for You and Your Family to Kill Your Television.” It explains how 4-year-olds who watch a lot of TV are more likely to become bullies when they’re older.
