How to Handle an UpcomingJob Interview

Enhance your prospects of success at your interview by learning what you must do when in front of the job interview panel:

To start with, you must be on time. Your initial feeling will last, and you can’t afford to turn up late. Decide how you are going to arrive at the destination 10 to 15 minutes ahead of schedule. That way, you won’t be so stressed as you enter the interview.

You must dress for success. The way you present yourself is important component of how you manage your feeling. Be the professional and capable candidate that you know you are, and look like it.

Be clear in your message and don’t tolerate any unnecessary distractions. Turn off your mobile phone and take off his sunglasses.

Introduce your self with confidence. Smile and enunciate your name confidently as you shake the interviewers hands with a decent grip. If you smile, you will appear confident to the job interview board – even if you don’t feel it.

You shouldn’t stare at the interviewer, but you should spend a fair amount of time looking the in the eye when you are talking. If you find yourself interviewed by a board, devote 80% of your eye contact to the panel member, who asked you the question and turn your head occasionally to the remaining job interview board members.

Keep your body language open, so that you will look honest and trustworthy. Be aware of how you behave and try to avoid any unfhelpful, non verbal messages. Sit up in your chair, but lean forward slightly. Do not fiddle with your hands or hair. Try to avoid habits such as repetitive, foot tapping or tongue clicking. do not think that you shouldn’t be worried – you will be. Just try to hide it.

Hopefully, these ideas will help you be successful in your job job interview.
